- Depart Arusha in the morning for a 1-hour drive to Arusha National Park.
- Register at Momella Gate and meet your armed ranger.
- Trek through lush forests, encountering buffalo, giraffes, warthogs, and colobus monkeys.
- Arrive at Miriakamba Hut for dinner and an overnight stay
- Distance: 8 km | Trekking Time: 3-4 hours
- Elevation Gain: +1,056m

- After breakfast, trek through montane forests and moorlands.
- The trail becomes steeper as you approach Saddle Hut.
