After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its impressive elephant population and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers outstanding wildlife viewing throughout the year. Enjoy a game drive while searching for elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, and various antelope species. Later, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Following breakfast, travel to Lake Manyara National Park. This scenic park is famous for its groundwater forests, open grasslands, acacia woodlands, and alkaline lake. Enjoy a game drive while looking for elephants, baboons, hippos, buffaloes, and the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. Bird enthusiasts can also enjoy sightings of flamingos and numerous migratory species.
Today you will descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife destinations. The crater floor supports an incredible concentration of animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, zebras, wildebeest, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater while surrounded by breathtaking scenery before continuing your wildlife exploration.
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning before departing for Arusha. Along the way, admire Tanzania’s beautiful countryside and local villages. Upon arrival in Arusha, transfer to your hotel or airport depending on your travel arrangements, marking the end of your memorable safari adventure.
