After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. The park is famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a full game drive exploring the park’s rivers and savannahs where lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and antelopes are commonly seen.
After breakfast, continue your journey to Lake Manyara National Park. This small but scenic park offers a wide variety of habitats including forests, grasslands, and lake shores. Enjoy game drives searching for elephants, hippos, baboons, and the famous tree-climbing lions. The park is also a paradise for birdwatchers with flamingos and other migratory birds.
Today you descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari experience. Often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater is home to an incredible density of wildlife including lions, rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, and hyenas. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor while surrounded by stunning scenery.
After breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward Serengeti National Park. Enjoy scenic views along the way as you enter the endless plains of Serengeti. In the afternoon, begin your first game drive in the park, where you may spot lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras.
